TOURISM INFORMATION
We'll be building up a list of places of interest local to The Red Lion that registered users can rate. This will help visitors to the area find the best places to go and might even provide some inspiration for us locals too. If you want more information on any of these, why not pop in and see us - we might have some further literature, advice or even discount tickets for some of them.

Malvern Theatres
Nestling at the foot of the Malvern Hills, Malvern Theatres is a major centre for the arts in the West Midlands. Home of the famous Malvern Festivals, founded by Bernard Shaw and Barry Jackson in 1929, the theatre underwent a lottery-funded refurbishment in 1997. Hailed both locally and nationally as a model of artistic and architectural excellence, Malvern Theatres boasts one of the most diverse selection of plays, music, comedy, dance, film and education work to be found under a single roof anywhere in the country.

The Malvern Hills
The Malvern Hills boast some of the most spectacular views in the Midlands, with routes for both beginners and the more experienced walkers.
The entire length of the Hills is open to the public and is criss-crossed with about 160km (100 miles) of bridleways and footpaths. Dogs are allowed on the hills and can be let off lead so long as they are well behaved. Cycling is allowed on bridleways only.
